Fertility tips

Do what your mother told you

While there is little we can do to slow the ageing process, we can make changes to our lifestyle to improve our fertility. Not smoking, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep and keeping a healthy weight will improve both your general wellbeing and your fertility.

Get the man tested first

Since 50% of fertility issues can be related to men, it’s far more cost-effective and less invasive to get the men tested first to rule out some of the causes of infertility. Currently men are only advised to get a sperm analysis, however, men are also recommended to look at their health and advanced sperm analysis tests such as MiOXSYS and DNA Fragmentation tests which can identify issues that can be corrected if Oxidative Stress may be causing a problem. Anti-Oxidants such as Proxeed Plus can help if Oxidative Stress has been identified.

Get plenty of sleep

Your sperm and egg cells are like every other cell in the body, if you’re deprived of sleep your body and its cells can’t repair and heal itself.
